Remember Us

This was a block of ice that had the words "remember us" in it. This block of ice also had 61 toy soldiers that represent the 61 names on this memorial at the Powning Veterans Memorial Parkin in Reno, Nevada. The ice melting represents the way we look at these memorials. We see them at first then we forget about them as it melts away from our memories. This piece was dedicated to the men and women who never made it back to Nevada.

Reverse Graffiti LOCATIONs

This bridge is on the Truckee River in Downtown Reno, Nevada. I was thinking that I can use the wood and do the reverse graffiti on the actual wood.



These pictures are of the location where I want to do my reverse graffiti. I plan to do it underneath the bridges.

Underneath this bridge would be perfect because there is a path way. But I think there might be an issue of people stopping me. There is a lot of foot traffic.
I was also looking at these rocks and think they would be perfect to do some reverse graffiti.

ART 404R Project Proposal for flyer

In my flyer I plan to post up flyers that say nice things about strippers instead of derogatory terms for strippers. An example of something nice would be Ladies nicer than your Grandma, Smart, Nice, Can cook, Wholesome Girls, Goes to Church, Well dressed, Funny, etc. I always think about what these strippers are like outside of their jobs. I am sure they are someone sister, mom, cousin, wife, etc. I just feel like they need some respect. Also, I just think this would be funny.
